Katherine Alice Zurawski, 92, of Menominee, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013, at Bay Area Medical Center. She was born on October 22, 1920, to the late Benjamin and Magdeline (Tenerovicz) Kosewski in Wallace.
On June 4, 1945, Katherine married Stanley J. Zurawski at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sobieski Rd., in Wallace. He preceded her in death on December 1, 2004. Together they ran a mink ranch for over 40 years and raised Hereford beef cattle for over 20 years in Menominee. They also farmed hay, potatoes, strawberries, and raspberries. She loved cooking and baking, especially for family dinners and gatherings. Katherine enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and having family and friends visit with her. Her faith and her family were the most important things to her. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Birch Creek.
 Katherine is survived by two sons: Ronald (Sandy) Zurawski of Menominee and Paul Zurawski of Brighton, Mich.; two daughters: Marlene Zurawski and Mary Ann (Jeffery) Jones, both of Menominee; five grandchildren: Michael Zurawski of Menominee, Michelle (Joseph) Grasso of Ave Maria, Fla., Katherine (Eric) Rubritius of Kentwood, Mich., Stephanie (Kraig) Nelson of Marinette and Jacqueline (Nicholas) Snyder of Grand Rapids, Mich.; three great-grandchildren: Ada Ellen, Claire Ann and Avery Michelle; three sisters-in-law: Lillian Kozikowski, Mary Tenarvitz and Emma Zuraski; a brother-in-law, John (Carole) Zuraski; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Stanley, she was preceded in death by an infant son, James; four sisters: Anna, Josephine, Frances and Victoria; and three brothers: John, Frank, and Antone.
 Family and friends may call at Holy Redeemer Church on Saturday, September 7th from 9 a.m. until time of service. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michael Ocran officiating.
Burial will be in Birch Creek Cemetery following the Mass.
