Kaleb J. Case, 83, passed away peacefully in his home in Marinette on Jan. 30, 2018.
Kaleb was born on Dec. 7, 1934, in Racine, Wis. He was very proud of his family ancestry. Some of his ancestors immigrated to America from Ireland and others founded J.I. Case & Company. Kaleb and his family moved to Marinette in 1973. He has been very active in the Marinette area community, committed to the local Catholic Church, and an active member of the Rotary Club. Over the years, he and his wife hosted 22 Rotary International exchange students. One of Kaleb’s greatest passions was the log cabin built by his father in the early 20th century in Vilas County, which he preserved in 1933 style, and where he spent many summers and Christmases. Kaleb loved the great outdoors, and he loved his family most of all.
He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will be a Funeral Mass at Holy Family Parish-Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 2715 Taylor St., Marinette, on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, at 2 p.m. Greetings at 1:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home is assisting the family.
