Janice M. (Jensen) Faucett, 81, of Marinette, passed away Monday morning, September 30, 2013, at the Luther Home. The former Janice M. Jensen was born March 2, 1932, in Peshtigo.
Janice married Howard "Red" Faucett on November 27, 1950, at Elgin Air Force Base in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. Janice had been employed by Marinette County as a Bailiff for the Circuit Court. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Marinette and enjoyed pastimes of going to movies, traveling to see family and especially eating out. Jan was a devoted mother and grandmother and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
Janice is survived by her four children: Ellen (Rick) Walker, Daryl (Kathy) Faucett, David Faucett and Susan (Don) Cochran; five grandchildren: Michael Faucett, Melissa (Dan) Villwock, Chad Walker, Kayla Cochran and Jessica Cochran; four great-grandchildren: Alexis Faucett, Kaileigh Faucett, Brennan Villwock and Bryan Villwock; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother; her husband, Howard "Red" Faucett; and a brother, Harley Jensen.
Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home in Marinette from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Keith Kolstad officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Jan's family suggests that memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice.
