Jack De Bauche Sr.

Jack De Bauche Sr., 70, of Crivitz, passed away on October 5, 2013. Jack fought a long, painful and difficult battle with cancer and multiple other diagnoses with bravery and dignity. His illnesses and death were largely due to his Agent Orange exposure during Vietnam.
Jack joined the United States Navy at the age of 17 and went on to serve three tours of duty in Vietnam. He was the recipient of two Purple Hearts and several Accommodations for Bravery. After retiring from the Navy as an Aviation Maintenance Engineer, Jack was employed by Cliff-Wall in Green Bay and when he retired for a second time, he enjoyed his retirement in rural Crivitz after living in Green Bay.
Jack is preceded in death by the love of his life/wife, Judy De Bauche. He is survived by his children: Jack De Bauche Jr. (Molly Larsen) of Neenah, James De Bauche (Mike Bunda) of Glendale, Ark.; his doggies: Snuggles and Snoopy of Crivitz; grandchildren: Patricia De Bauche of Allentown, Penn., (great-grandchildren: Joe and Jazmyn), Jenny De Bauche of Neenah, Kevin De Bauche of Neenah, and Amanda Halford (J. Sal Halford) of Oshkosh; his brother, Dave De Bauche (Annie De Bauche) of Cheshire, Conn. and sister, Donna Vincent (Dennis Vincent) of Elm Grove, Wis.; devoted friends: Bobbi and Randy Dennis, Barb and Jerry Koehler of Crivitz, Wis.
Jack (grandpa) will be loved and missed by all.
Visitation and the memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12th at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home located on George Street in Crivitz, Wis. Military Rights will be conducted by the Crivitz American Legion. Visitation will be from 11 a.m to 1 p.m with the service to immediately follow at 1 p.m.
The family would like to thank Dr. Halaweh and his nurse Kate of Aurora Health Center. They were both instrumental in keeping his cancer at bay for over four years and provided stellar medical care while demonstrating kindness. The family would also like to extend appreciation to the Unity Hospice staff.
