Harriet B. Hafeman, 76, of Menominee, Mich., passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Menominee Care Center. She was born October 2, 1935, in Powers, Mich. to the late Fred and Anna (Veeser) Hafeman.
Harriet graduated from Powers-Spalding High School. After graduation she worked on the family farm and took care of her parents. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Menominee, Mich. and she enjoyed spending time with her nieces, nephews and watching the Packers play.
Harriet is survived by six sisters: Marian Smiltneck, Irene Sattler, Virginia (Don) Lesperance, Joanne (John) Jocham, Evelyn (Verlyn) Goretske, and Joyce Schnieder; three brothers: Robert (Marilyn) Hafeman, Patrick (Eunice) Hafeman, John (Barbara) Hafeman; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Lorraine and one brother, Irving.
 Family and friends may call to the Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home on Sunday, March 3, 2013, from 1 p.m. until time of the Vigil service at 3 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Harriet on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Menominee, Mich. with Fr. Marty Flynn presiding.
Burial will be in Spalding Township Cemetery Powers, Mich.
