H. David Lindbom, 76, of Marinette, Wis., passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at Bay Area Medical Center. David was born on July 29, 1937, to Nels and Marcella (Vanderfin) Lindbom. 
David graduated from Marinette High School class of 1955. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy. David continued his education attending Northern Michigan University where he earned a BA in Administration and received his MA from UW Oshkosh. He married Judith Anderle on May 19, 1962. David was the principal for the Peshtigo Elementary Learning Center for 26 years. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. David was a member of the Elk's Club, Duck's Unlimited, Whitetails Unlimited, Caring Hearts in Marinette, as well as Concerned Heart's of Green Bay. David was a proud husband, father, and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family. David also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and music. He played in a band with Roy DeGayner and had his own dance band called The Classic's. David was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers as well as the Milwaukee Brewers. 
David is survived by his loving wife, Judith; two daughters: Lora Lindbom of Marinette and Lisa (Tim) Troxell of Wausaukee; two sons: Jeff (Carol) Lindbom of Wausaukee and Jay Lindbom of Peshtigo; nine grandchildren including: Toby (Amanda) Meintz, Alicia Meintz, Jacob Lindbom, Bailey Enderby, Colton Lindbom, Abbie Lindbom, Kennedy Troxell, Haddie Enderby and Amya Troxell; one great-grandchild, Chase Meintz; two sisters: Kathy (Bob) Deschaine of Marinette, and Sue (Chet) Closson of Marinette; one brother, Robert (Naomi) Lindbom; his canine buddy, "Bly" and many other family members and friends. Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by his stepfather, Alfred LaCombe and his sister, Helen Forton.
Visitation will take place at the Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home, 549 10th Avenue, Menominee, Mich. 49858 on Monday, January 6, 2014 from 3 to 6:30 p.m. The Vigil prayer service will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Deacon Steve Gretzinger officiating.
 A memorial fund has been established in David's name. Any expressions of sympathy and kindness may be directed toward a family member.
 David's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Emergency Rescue Squad, the Paramedics, and the ER Doctor and nurses at Bay Area Medical Center for their wonderful care.
