Geraldine R. Barker (nee Kasprzyk), 89, of Milwaukee, Wis., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 24, 2013.
Gerrie proudly served in World War II at the United States Marine Corps Headquarters in Washington, D.C. and she is a retiree of Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District. She married Carl M. Barker, of Menominee, Mich., in 1952, who preceded her in death in 1965.
They were blessed with seven children who survive them: Daniel Barker of Fort Meyers, Fla., Robert (Laura) Barker of Milwaukee, Mary Barker of Green Bay, Jean (Michael) Bachmann of Denmark, Roz Barker (Kim Poli) of Green Bay, Joni Johnson of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Nancy Barker (Todd Kroscher) of Two Rivers. Geraldine is survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation Wednesday, January 1, 2013, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME, Milwaukee, Wis., with Vigil at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on January 2nd, ST. GREGORY THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3160 S. 63rd St., Milwaukee, Wis., 53219.
Interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
