Eleanor Crowley, 97, of Marinette, passed away Sunday evening, June 9, 2013, with her family at her side.  She was born on November 21, 1915, in Marinette, to the late Walter and Elsie (Topel) Beyer. She was born and raised in Marinette and was a 1934 graduate of Marinette High School.  On March 30, 1943, she was married to Cornelius Crowley in Muskogee, Okla.; he preceded her in death on January 8, 1983.
Eleanor was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, and will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
Eleanor is survived by two sons: Thomas (Carol) Crowley of Marinette and Keith (Pam) Crowley of DePere; two daughters: Susan (Owen) Vieth and Linda Crowley, both of Marinette; 9 grandchildren: Anthony (Paula) Crowley, Mark (Jessica) Crowley, Sara Phelan, Jacob (Sara) Phelan, Aaron (Danielle) Phelan, Carlene (Randy) Larmay, Michelle (Cody) Stoneburner, Brandon Crowley and Leah Crowley; 11 great-grandchildren: Ella, Selah, Gabrielle, Jaylyn, Maci, Jayla, Brady, Faith, Madalyn, Arkaya, Zane and three more on the way; special friends: Joyce Moberg and Madonna Lambert. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Janis Phelan; a son, Richard Crowley; daughter-in-law, Lisa Crowley; her sister, Joyce Lambert; and her brother, Jack Beyer.
Friends may call at Our Savior's Lutheran Church on Friday, June 14, 2013, after 1 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Friday in the church. The Rev. James Wendt will officiate.
Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Marinette.
