Donald M. "Don" Allard, 86, of Caledonia, died on May 8, 2013. He was born on July 26, 1926, son of Adolph and Mary Jane (Durand) Allard in enominee.
Don proudly served in active duty in the United States Navy, World War II. Don retired from the Ladish Co., Cudahy and became the "city farmer" near Crivitz, Wis.
Don is the loving husband of Wana (nee, Curtis) Allard; dear father of Michael, Jeffrey (Diane), Brenda (Bill) Allen and Bryan; grandfather of Renee (Chris) Uphill, Becky (Jon) Kuras, Jeremy, Darin (Jenny), Lindsay, Becca, Jessica, Alyssa, Todd and Derek; great-grandpa of Nick, Alana, Katlyn, Frank and Gunner. Don is further survived by one sister, Doris Leyo; sister-in-law, Marilyn Anderson; brother-in-law, Richard (Rose) Curtis, many extended family members and friends.
The visitation for Don will be on Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. with the American Legion Post #413 at the Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz.
Entombment at Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette.
