Donald J. Paasch, 85, of Menominee, Mich., passed away on Saturday, April 15th, 2017, at Bay Area Medical Center. Donald was born on September 16th, 1931, in Milwaukee, Wis., to the late Gustaf and Lucille (Slawinski) Paasch.
        On February 5th, 1955, Donald married the former Patricia LaMack in Menominee, Mich. He worked as a machinist at Enstrom Helicopter for 35 years. Donald enjoyed bowling, raising chickens, going to camp and woodworking. He was an avid Detroit Lions and Milwaukee Brewers fan. Donald loved having his family around him and looked forward to family gatherings for the holidays. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Pat; seven children: Jeff (Terri) Paasch, Carle Paasch, Sherry (Rob) Johnston, Pat (Maureen) Paasch, Lori (Dan) Frank, LuAnn (Mike) Dubey and Julie (Mike) Krah; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Harry Paasch.  Donald was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Paasch; and daughter-in-law, Beth Paasch.
Family will receive friends at Anderson Kell Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017, after 4 p.m., until the Military Rites at 6:45 p.m. conducted by the Military 20 Year Club. A funeral service will follow with Father Brad Sjoquist officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
