Donald (Duck) Joseph Rabideau, Sr., 77, of Menominee, Mich., passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017, at BAMC in Marinette, Wis. He was born on October 2, 1939, in Menominee to the late Arthur and Anna (Gayon) Rabideau. 
     Duck graduated from Menominee High School and then received his college degree at Northern Michigan University. Duck married the former Carol Petersen on January 23, 1960, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Menominee. He was self employed most of his life, and was owner/operator of the Auto Clinic in Menominee. Duck was a member of the Moose Lodge and he enjoyed collecting coins, hunting and fishing, and in his younger days he liked racing stock cars and demolition derbies. Duck’s family was most important to him, especially his Friday night card games with his sisters. Duck will be sadly missed by his family and friends. “Duck’s door was always open and will continue to be opened for his family and friends”.
Duck is survived by his loving wife, Carol, of over 57 years; two daughters: Ruth Anne (Scott) Rebman of Pulaski, Wis., and Sue (Wes) Stripling of Marinette, Wis.; one son, Donald Rabideau, Jr., of Appleton, Wis.; five grandchildren: Justin Tessmer, Tanya (Bradley) Rybicki, Crystal (Adam) Miller, Dustin (Katherine) Ruleau, and Nicole Stripling; six great-grandchildren: Tae, Mason, Ennah, Laighla, Ava, and one on the way; one sister, Barbara (Francis) Trepanier of Oconto, Wis.; his sisters-in-law: Betty, Marie (Richard), and Lorraine (Victor); and his brother-in-law, Tom (Pam); and other family members and friends. In addition to his parents, Duck was preceded in death by two sisters: Betty and Marie; and three brothers: Arthur, Robert, and Ronald. 
In honoring Duck’s wishes, no services will be held. 
Burial will be in the Forest Home Mausoleum in Marinette.
