Dale L. Boettcher, 63, of Marinette, Wis., passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Bay Area Medical Center with family and friends at his side from complications of Muscular Dystrophy. Dale was born on April 28, 1949, in Marinette, to the late LeRoy and Marion (Kushman) Boettcher.
Many knew Dale from his days when he worked for the Risen Son Bookstore. Although Dale was faced with many physical challenges throughout his life, he never let his struggles bring him down. Dale hosted the WLUC TV 6 MDA Telethon for many years and was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan. Most of all, Dale had a strong faith in his Lord and Savior which enabled him to fight his life long disability. Dale was an active member of Grover Community Church.
Survivors include his sister, Debbie (Doug) Anderson of Wallace, Mich.; three nephews: Dana (Danelle) Anderson of Medina, Ohio and their children: Cade and Ava; Nathan (Kelli) Anderson of Menominee, Mich. and their children: Olivia, Kyle and Emma; and Jason (Amanda) Anderson of Wallace, Mich.; and special cousin, Doug Boettcher of Marinette, Wis.
Family and friends may call at Grover Community Church on Friday, March 29, 2013, after 2 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 4 p.m. Pastor Rod Efta officiating.
Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
