Colin J. Kinziger, 65, of Pound, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 15, 2014. He was born to the late Alfred and Marion (Maloney) Kinziger, September 25, 1948, in Marinette.
Colin married the former Shirley Seefeldt, February 20, 1971 at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Pound. Colin taught at the Lena Middle School and coached wrestling and football in Lena for 13 years. He took over his father's butcher shop in Pound and operated it until 2000. Most recently he drove truck for Dan Bieber Equipment, Pound. Colin was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was also an avid Packer Fan. Colin was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Coleman.
Surviving him are his wife, Shirley; three children: Marc (fiancé, Becca) Kinziger, Little Suamico, Keith (Pam) Kinziger, Pound, Dan (Keri) Bieber, Beaver; five grandchildren: Abby, Maddy, John, Owen and Norah; three brothers: Nick (Peg) Kinziger, Crivitz, Pat (Joann) Kinziger, Pound, Fred (Shirley) Kinziger, Pound; four sisters: Ann Cornelius, Antigo, Kathy (Jim) Gilbertson, Pound, Kristy (Wayne) Baenen, Pound, Michelle (Mike) Schounard, Pound; and mother-in-law, Doris Seefeldt, Oconto. Colin was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law: Paul Cornelius and Brian Bintz; and father-in-law, Rueben Seefeldt.
Relatives and friends may call at St. Anne Catholic Church, Coleman, Sunday, April 20, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wake Services at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Father Celestine Byekwaso officiating.
Colin will be placed to rest at St. Leo's Catholic Cemetery, Pound.
