Clifford R. “Cliff” Falstad, 83, of Marinette, Wis., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018. He was born Jan. 6, 1935, in Spooner, Wis., to Raymond and Hilda Falstad.
    Cliff spent his early life in that area and graduated from Spooner High School before moving to Marinette to seek employment. After coming to Marinette, he met the former Shirley Powell, and they were married on Sept. 28, 1963. Most of Cliff’s employment years were spent as an employee of The Ansul Company from which he retired. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
    Cliff is survived by loving wife of 55 years, Shirley; two daughters: Sheila (Samuel) Nyakundi and Sherri (Jeff) Arndt; one grandson, David Nyakundi; a sister, Helen Hanken; two brothers: Bob Falstad and Russ (Kay) Falstad; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Chuck Falstad.
    Friends may call at Calvary Church Assembly of God, W1498 State Hwy. 64, on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Services will follow at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Tim Hawthorne officiating.
    Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
