Bonnie L. Knutson, 66, of Menominee, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at her home. She was born April 28, 1946, in Marinette to Donald and Anna Pecor.
Bonnie resided in the twin city area all of her life and was a graduate of Marinette High School, Class of 1964. She was married to Lawrence "Larry" Knutson on August 27, 1966. Bonnie had worked at the former Fish, Net & Twine in Menominee and, when her children were young, as a classroom aide and volunteer at Roosevelt School. She most recently had been employed as a bartender at Jeff's Cactus Bar in Marinette. Bonnie will be remembered for always being there for her family and being helpful to people, even those she hardly knew.
Bonnie is survived by her children and grandchildren: a son, Larry, Jr. of Menominee; three daughters: Tammy (Paul) Quinn of Heyworth, Ill. and their children: Victoria, PJ and Dylan; Susan (Anthony) Corrie of Whitmore Lake, Mich. and their children: Danielle and Michael; and Melinda and her daughter, Kaitlin of Marinette; four great-grandchildren: Tamia, Colbey, Lilly and Layla; one brother, Henry Pecor of Peshtigo; and three sisters: Joanne (Ronald) Meyers of Peshtigo, Peggy (Steve) Edwin of Menominee and Donna (Claude) Eichenour of Houston, Tex. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry, on June 27, 2006.
Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home, Marinette, after 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
