Bonnie Beland Kopish, 70, of Marinette, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013, at The Walker Methodist Health Center in Minneapolis, Minn. She was born July 9, 1942, in Menominee to Edward and Emma (nee Hruska) Beland.
Bonnie resided in the Twin City area all of her life and was a graduate of Menominee High School, Class of 1960. On August 3, 1963, she married James Rudolph Kopish.
Bonnie is survived by her three children: Kathy (Todd) Clairmont of Menominee, Mich., Kelly Verbrick of Minneapolis, Minn. and James (Judy) Kopish of West Bend, Wis.; seven grandchildren: Christopher (Patty) Clairmont, Brandon (Marie) Clairmont, Jaimie (Justin) Cook, Gemma Verbrick, Piper Verbrick, Ally Kopish and Eli Kopish; five great-grandchildren: Cleland, Colin, Isabelle, Nova and Sawyer; and two brothers: Darrell Beland and Patrick Beland, both of Menominee, Mich. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Kopish; and a brother, Richard Beland of Menominee.
Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home in Marinette after 4 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home.
