Bernadette E. "Bernie" (Molter) Meek, formerly of Milwaukee, Shawano and later Crivitz, was born to eternal life May 8, 2013 in Waukesha, Wis.
Bernie with her husband John owned and operated the Riverview Motel in Shawano for many years.
Survivors include children: Janet (Frank) Sardina of Mukwonago, Joyce (Richard) Green of Milwaukee, Jerry (Jody) of New Berlin, Joanne (the late Keith) Woitekaitis of Porterfield, Jenny Lex of Waukesha, Julie (Jeff) Wendt of Wasilla, Alaska, Jim (Jo) of Waukesha, Jeff (Penny) of Wautoma and Jay (Dee) Meek of Bowler; 18 loving grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sisters, Terri Molter of Janesville, Aggie Molter of Marinette and Sue (Rich) Kempka of Peshtigo; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by husband, John A.; sons: John W. and Joseph; five brothers and one sister.
Visitation, Wednesday, May 15 at St. Matthias Church, 9306 W. Beloit Rd. Milwaukee, from 4 to 6:15 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 6:30 p.m. Committal services, Thursday, 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee.
