Beatrice M. Labreche, 98, of Green Bay, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014. She was born in Menominee, Mich. on September 11, 1915, daughter of the late Emil and Emilia (Dickman) Wendt.
On July 11, 1936, Beatrice was united in marriage to Roscoe Labreche, he preceded her in death in 1988. She was a former member of the Ladies Guild at Christ Lutheran in Menominee and a current member at St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran, DePere.
Beatrice is survived by a son, Gary; daughter, Judy (Keith) Hendricksen and a daughter-in-law, Judi LaBreche. She is further survived by 12 grandchildren: Melissa, Noelle, Christopher, Carole, Glenn, Paul, Paul L., Lance, Julie, Mandi, Cindy and Terri; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husband, Beatrice was preceded in death by two sons: Tom and Ronald; a daughter-in-law, Jeanne; two sisters and three brothers.
Visitation for Beatrice will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2066 Lawrence Drive, from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Eric Hansen officiating.
Beatrice will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery, Menominee, Mich.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to Beatrice's caregivers at Bishop's Court and Unity Hospice (especially Brenda M.) who all went out of their way to make her comfortable.
