Anne Marie Nemetz Fisher, 102, passed away on September 13, 2013, at St. Mary's Care Center. She was born on April 3, 1911 in Menominee, Mich. to Matt and Marie (Brousek) Nemetz.
Anne married Fred Ihler in 1935 in Menominee. He preceded her in death in 1983. In 1986, she married Lester Fisher in Marinette at Sacred Heart Church. He preceded her in death in 1995. She was a member of Holy Family Church Altar Society She was a member of the Marinette Historical Society, Bohemian Lodge, Horizon's Unlimited, Girl Scout Leader, Cub Scouts Leader, M&M Foundation, and Elks Club. Anne had a happy life with many friends. She enjoyed cooking, baking, entertaining, traveling and was an avid Packer fan.
Anne is survived by her son, Bill Ihler; daughter, Susan Ihler; son-in-law, Rick Reichardt; grandchildren: Marc and Ana Reichardt; a close family friend, Diane Schrager; and a sister, Mary Helen Plautz. She was preceded in death by her brothers: John and Jim; and her sister, Antionette.
The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 2735 Taylor Street, on Saturday, October 19th at 11 a.m. Burial will follow. If you would like to join the family for a meal following the memorial service, please call 608-238-9636 for information and RSVP.
