MARINETTE - Before commencing with regular business during their regular meeting, the Marinette City Council members will sit down with the Water and Wastewater Utility commissioners to discuss if the commissions should remain in existence or if the city council should provide for the operation of the Water and Wastewater Utility by the Board of Public Works or by another officer or officers, in lieu of the commissions. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. today in the common council chambers. The council will accept public comments on this and other agenda items at the beginning of the meeting.
