While attending a Milwaukee Bucks game with my family on Sunday afternoon, my thoughts about a great Wisconsin talent were confirmed. I am now totally convinced that Bango is the top mascot in all of sports.

Bango gained long overdue recognition during the 2010-2011 NBA season when he performed a reverse dunk off the top step of a what appears to be a 20 foot ladder. If you haven't seen this, you have to check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRitEpO0K4U

Don't try to duplicate Bango's antics at home. After his crazy acrobatic dunk, I wonder if NBA officials issued a memo to all teams communicating that Bango had crossed the line and that other NBA mascots shouldn't attempt to match or outdo Bango's amazing dunk.

Sunday's game included a half-time show competition featuring mascots from Milwaukee area teams and other organizations. While Bango Jr. represented the Bucks in the competition, the NBA's top mascot facilitated the show from a segway. I believe Bango spent the entire game on that two-wheeler.

Bango has talent, toughness and style. With Bango, Bucks fans get a level of coolness not seen in Milwaukee since the Fonz. He's the best.
