Squares to host Wolf River dance
MENOMINEE — The Twin City Squares will host the Wolf River Area Club of the Month dance at the Menominee Township Hall, N2283 0-1 Drive, three miles north of Menominee on U.S. 41, July 17 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. with special caller, Bob Asp. The lunch committee will provide root beer floats and members should bring whatever they would like to have with the floats.

VBS to begin at St. Matthew
POUND — Vacation Bible School under the theme “Dive In” (to God’s word), will be held at the St. Matthew Church, W7192 Highway 64, for children 5 years and older, July 23 to 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. There will be a variety of activities including crafts and outdoor activities related to the theme and children will be read Bible stories, sing songs and be provided with a snack. Parents are welcome to accompany their children.
