Fish fry to benefit The Salvation Army
MARINETTE — The Marinette Moose Lodge, 5233 E Nettleton Road, will host a Green Bay Perch Fry, Feb. 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. The meal includes perch, choice of potato, cole slaw, baked beans, rye bread, dessert and cost $13.95 for adults and $11.50 for youths and seniors. Walker to speak at center dedication
MARINETTE — Gov. Scott Walker will be the keynote speaker at the ribbon cutting and open house dedication ceremony of the Wisconsin Maritime Center of Excellence, 1320 Main St., today at 3:30 p.m. The event is open to the public.
‘All Things Chocolate’ fundraiser planned
MARINETTE — “All Things Chocolate” will hold its 10th annual fundraiser at Little River Country Club, N2235 Shore Drive, Feb. 8 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The event will feature area vendors who will present their “chocolate” specialty for guests to enjoy as well as door prizes and a live auction. Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door and are available at Jack’s Fresh Market, Menominee; Marinette Menominee Area Chamber of Commerce, Aging Disability Resource Center; Little River Country Club and the Respite Care. Proceeds of the event will go to Respite Care.

YMCA offers CPR/AED training
MENOMINEE — The YMCA will be holding CPR and AED training sessions at their facility, 1600 West Drive, Feb. 7, March 7, April 4, May 2 and June 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. The cost for members is $25, nonmembers $50 and registration is required for all.
