SVDP seeks truck replacement funds
MARINETTE — St. Vincent de Paul is appealing to individuals and corporations in the community for assistance in replacing their food pantry’s cargo truck. The truck, which broke down on Dec. 24, picks up food from area grocery stores, food drives and Feeding America in Appleton to stock pantry shelves, which serves 250 people each week. This emergency campaign hopes to raise $20,000 and a local donor has agreed to match any money donated towards this effort.
