Foundation seeks contributions
MENOMINEE — The M&M Area Community Foundation urges the community to continue contributing to the Philanthropy Fund since 50 percent of the money raised is given as grants to local non-profits to support their programs and projects and the other 50 percent is endowed. Persons may contribute at whatever level fits their budget as no contribution is too small and will make a positive impact in our communities.
Some of the past Philanthropy Fund grant recipients include: CASA of Menominee County, Bark River-Harris School District, Marinette County Elderly Services, Crivitz Area Youth Group, Good Music for a Good Cause, Volunteer Chaplains, Menominee County 4-H, Town of Goodman, Pastor Fred’s Food Pantry, The Salvation Army and Wausaukee Enterprises.
For more information or to make a donation, persons may call the foundation at 906-864-3599 or mail a check to: M&M Area Community Foundation, 1110 10th Avenue, Suite L-1, Menominee, MI 49858.
