Our Saviors to hold Christmas services
MARINETTE — Our Saviors Lutheran Church,1600 University Drive, will have their Christmas Eve candlelight service Dec. 24 at 8 p.m. It will include Christmas favorites, coral arrangements by the adult choir, brass musicians, soloists, harp, a special message, Holy Communion and the singing of “Silent Night” by the congregation.
The Christmas Day service, Dec. 25, begins at 10 a.m. and will feature traditional Christmas carols, lessons, message and Holy Communion. For more information, persons may call the church’s office at 715-735-3101 or visit the website at www.oursaviorsparish.org. 
Grace church to hold Christmas services
Grace Episcopal Church, 922 10th Ave., will hold its Christmas Eve service Dec. 24 at 4:30 p.m. People are also encouraged to join the group for lessons and carols Dec. 31 at 9:30 a.m.
More bell ringers, donations sought
MARINETTE — The Salvation Army is appealing for more volunteers to ring the bells and/or donations, in order to achieve their goal of $100,000. The money collected is to support programs which include assistance for rent, utilities, nursing home visits, meal programs, grocery assistance, the Youth Center and more.
Although the organization has raised $50,000, the programs that are offered to help the needy could be adversely affected if the stated goal is not met.
