Twin City Squares to hold holiday dance
MARINETTE — The Twin City Squares will hold their Christmas dance at Merryman School, 611 Elizabeth Ave., Sunday from 2 to 4:30 p.m. The caller will be Mary Houle with supper including Christmas and holiday favorites and dessert provided by the lunch committee.  If it is too cold for square dance attire, casual dress is acceptable.

Knights plan Tom & Jerry party
MENOMINEE — Menominee Knights of Columbus Council 646 will have its traditional Tom & Jerry party at Holy Redeemer Parish Hall, Friday at 5 p.m. Drinks will be available, but attendees are asked to bring a finger food to share. All Knights, friends, families and widows of Knights are welcome.
MSU Extension to hold session Jan. 24
STEPHENSON — MSU Extension will hold a session on “Making More Profit From the Parlor” at the Menominee County MSUE Office, S904 U.S. 41, Jan. 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The program, which is offered remotely and paired with a program taking place downstate, will include lessons learned from monitoring milkings; developing protocols and training employees; handling cows well and holding pen management; parlor efficiency and profitability; identifying mastitis and using on-farm cultures and 3X or 2X, which is best? The speakers are Ron Erskine, Paola Bacigalupo, Marianne Buza, Faith Cullens, Phil Durst, Kathy Lee, Martin Mangual and Stan Moore.
