DAV to hold brat fry Friday
MENOMINEE — The Menominee County chapter of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) will hold a brat fry at Jack’s Fresh Market, Menominee, Nov. 10 from 8 a.m. to noon. Brats ($2.50 for one and $4 for two), chips (50 cents) and water ($1) will be sold. Persons may pre-order by calling 906-864-3577. Delivery is available, so those ordering may leave their order quantity, phone number, address and the time you want your items delivered.
Merryman to hold Veterans Day event
MARINETTE — The Merryman Elementary School will host its annual Veterans Day program in the gym, Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. Nate Millsap, Navy veteran and Director of Industrial Security at Fincantieri Marinette Marine, will be the guest speaker. DAR to hold 5K Run/Walk
MENOMINEE — DAR Boys and Girls Club will hold a 5K Fun Run/Walk, 901 8th Ave., Saturday starting at 9 a.m. with packet pick-up from 8 to 8:45 a.m. The entry fee is $25 for participants 5 years and older and free for those younger.

‘Senior ID’ event planned
MARINETTE — The Marinette Senior Center will hold a “Senior ID” event at the center 1603 Ludington St., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This special event is an opportunity to receive a free CD documentation with picture, fingerprints and a video clip. No information will be kept on site or stored. There is no cost but pre-registration is recommended.
