Triple C Frosty Toy Run is today
All proceeds from the event will go to the Triple C Riders annual toy drive, which begins with today’s event and continues through the holiday season, that benefits children being cared for at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette, Bellin in Oconto and St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls.

Marinette school plans Senior Citizen Day
MARINETTE — The Marinette High School Student Senate will host Senior Citizen Day in the WJ Jones auditorium Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon. Historical society plans 50th annual event
MENOMINEE — The Menominee County Historical Society will hold its 50th annual meeting in the Hearth Room of the Riverside Golf & Dining, Nov. 12.
Cocktails will begin at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6. There will be a cash bar and each person is responsible for his/her dinner. T
here will be a brief business meeting following, then a presentation by Mike Kaufman about Charles I. Cook, the founder of the Carpenter Cook Company (Great Lakes Foods) and his contributions to the city of Menominee.
