Farmers market to be held Wednesday
MENOMINEE — The Menominee Historic Downtown Farmers Market will have market, inside the Menominee Senior Center, 905 10th St., Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will also be a sauerkraut workshop from 5 to 7:30 p.m. which features health benefits of fermented sauerkraut. Items needed to make sauerkraut are supplied. The workshop is $25 per person and $50 per couple in advance; $30 and $55 respectively on the day of the workshop. Memorial bell ceremony to be held
MENOMINEE — November is National Hospice Month and OSF Home Care and Hospice, UP Health System Home Care and Hospice, along with staff and volunteers will join together for a Bells for Hospice ceremony at the memorial bell, Menominee County Courthouse, 839 10th Ave., Wednesday at noon. The program consists of a prayer, a moment of silence and singing and will last approximately 30 minutes. The Menominee High School Choral Group will sing and community churches have been asked to ring bells at noon.

Northland Village to hold craft, bake sale
MARINETTE — Northland Village’s craft and bake sale will be held at Northland Village, 1025 Pine Beach Road, Nov. 11 from 8 a.m. to noon. There will be handcrafted items, holiday gifts and homemade baked goods.

MARINETTE COUNTY — Marinette County Health and Human Services announce the 2018 immunization clinic schedule.
St. Mary’s Parish Center, 808 Henriette Ave., Crivitz, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. and additional clinics to accommodate “back to school” and flu season. Clinic dates (3rd Tuesday of every other month) are as follows: Jan. 16, Mar. 20, May 15, July 17, Aug. 21, Sept. 18, Oct. 16, Nov. 20 and Dec. 18.
