Legion to host potluck dinner
MENOMINEE —  American Legion Post 146 will host a potluck dinner at the post, Menominee, tonight at 6.
Storytime continues with Halloween stories
PESHTIGO — The Peshtigo Library continues its storytime with Halloween stories Friday at 10:30 a.m.; Clifford stories, Nov. 3; turkey stories Nov. 10. The library will also have a Halloween Family Fun Night, Monday from 4 to 5 p.m. The Book Club will meet Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. People are welcome to come and enjoy a few books and a craft with their preschool-aged children or participate in a discussion on books read.

St. Paul’s church to hold Fall Festival
MARINETTE — St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will host a Fall Festival at 917 Church St., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The festival includes a vendor fair with a variety of products for personal and home use. There will be a silent auction of items donated by local businesses and a craft and bake sale. Lunch will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with sloppy joes and hot dogs, chips and beverages. Proceeds from the Fall Festival will be donated to local area charities and service organizations.
Church to hold Reformation anniversary
MENOMINEE — Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7th Street and 11th Avenue, will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, Sunday at 10 a.m. The church will also dedicate its refurbished pipe organ, which has served the church for over 60 years with many ranks of the original pipes spanning well over a century, to the glory of God. Kaitlyn Cole from Saginaw, Mich., will be the guest organist. There will be a potluck meal following. All are invited and persons may bring a potluck dish to pass.
Legion invites children to get treat
HERMANSVILLE — Ted Gurgall of the Floriano-Stecker Kelly American Legion is extending an invitation to all children to visit the post for a treat, Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m.
Woman’s Club to meet Nov. 1
MARINETTE — The Marinette Woman’s Club will have their monthly meeting at the Little River Country Club, Nov. 1 at noon. The cost is $12.
