Students listen to a panel during the Career Opportunities Expo program presented by the Marinette Menominee Area Chamber of Commerce Jan. 9 at the UW-Marinette campus. This half-day event, which was attended by more than 350 tenth-grade students from GPS Education Partners, Marinette High School, Menominee High School, Peshtigo High School, Saint Thomas Aquinas Academy, Stephenson High School and Wausaukee High School, introduced participants to a variety of careers and community role models. The major sponsors of the program were Bellin Health-Marinette and ChemDesign Products Inc. as well as co-sponsors BPM Inc., Farmers & Merchants Bank & Trust, Wisconsin Public Service and supporting sponsors Anchor Coupling Inc. and the Stephenson National Bank and Trust.
