Halle Beranek leads other Saint Thomas Aquinas Academy students in prayer Wednesday morning at Saint Thomas Aquinas Academy for the missing Wisconsin teen, Jayme Closs. Beranek took initiative and asked Principal Michael Cattani if she could lead a prayer of the rosary for the missing teen. “Being able to relate, having a brother the same age, knowing it could have been any of us, and not being able to go out and help with the search, I wanted to do something,” said Beranek. “The power of prayer is so often underestimated. Being raised to want to do something to help others, and take initiative, ‘Where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them.’”
