Legion to hold dinners Thursday, Friday
MENOMINEE — The Menominee American Legion will hold dinners Thursday and Friday.
Thursday, dinner will be served from 4:30 to 8 p.m. The corned beef and cabbage dinner will be $6.95, and a smelt basket will be $5.95.
Friday, dinner will be served from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The smelt dinner will be $6.95, perch dinner will be $11.95 and the tenderloin steak dinner will be $11.95.

Concertina Club to meet Tuesday
SOBIESKI — The North East Wisconsin Concertina, Accordion and Button Box Club will meet Tuesday, from 6:30 to 9 p.m., at Racer’s Rail Bar and Grill, 6078 County Trunk S. Participants should note the new location.
People may listen or dance to the music. Admission is free. The club will now meet the third Tuesday of the month, September through May (except for January).

CHAIN Reaction Day is April 29
Spring CHAIN Reaction Day, coordinated by Elderly Services of Marinette County, is April 29 (alternative dates offered). Groups are invited enjoy time outdoors helping elderly in the community cleanup their yard for summer. Volunteers are needed to complete all chore requests. This assistance can help seniors remain in their homes.
