Gun show to be held Saturday
CRIVITZ — Netzel Zenz American Legion Post 413 will hold a gun show Saturday at the village hall. Buy, sell, trade-dealers and collectors are welcome. Doors will open for dealers to set up from 6 to 8 a.m. The public is welcome from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $4 for ages 12 and older. Thirty-two eight-foot tables are available for $10. Gun and related items are allowed, and all dealers to furnish covers for their tables. The post is not responsible for fire or theft. Moose Lodge invites the public to events
MARINETTE — The Moose Lodge invites the public several upcoming events.
¦ Liljestrand’s Potato Sausage Dinner — Saturday, from 5 to 7 p.m. Cost is $9, which includes salad bar and dessert. Profits will be donated to Crime Stoppers of Marinette County.
¦ Smelt Dinner — Wednesday, from 5 to 7 p.m. Cost is $9.50 for all-you-can-eat. Proceeds will benefit the Wisconsin Home at Mooseheart, for new living room furniture.
¦ Corned Beef Dinner — March 18, at 6 p.m. Cost is $9.50. Benefits the Foster Grandparents program in Stephenson.
¦ Perch Dinner — March 29, benefits Porterfield Fire Department.
¦ Smelt Dinner — April 12, benefits Marinette City Logging and Heritage Festival.
Recent donations include $1,756.19 to the Emergency Rescue Squad Inc., $1,724 to the Twin County Free Clinic, and $200 to Larry Lesneski for help with medical bills. The Radar Run held recently raised funds to sponsor a youth soccer team and a youth baseball team.

Diabetes group to meet Wednesday
MARINETTE — Individuals with diabetes, along with their families and caregivers, are invited to join Aurora Bay Area Health Center staff for a diabetes support group Wednesday, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the conference room of Aurora Bay Area Health Center, 4061 Old Peshtigo Road. Admission is free. Renell Betters, Menominee Senior Center administrator, will discuss the Menominee Senior Center and services it offers.
The group meets on the third Wednesday of every month. Registration for the support group presentation is not required. For more information, people may contact Nola Hardy, 715-735-7421. Upcoming meetings include: April 19, medication for diabetes; and May 17, National Stroke Month.
Easter Egg Hunt is April 15
MENOMINEE — The Menominee Recreation Department will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt April 15, at Spies Public Library. There is a 9:30 a.m. session, and a 10:45 a.m. session. This event is for children 3-8 years old.
Events at the Easter Egg Hunt include face painting, crafts, games, the Easter Egg Hunt and more. The egg hunt may be held outside dependent upon weather conditions.
Preregistration is required. To register, people may email the recreation department at parksandrec@cityofmenominee.net with the child’s name, age, phone number and preferred session time. Space is limited. Registration deadline is April 7.
