Lord’s Diner continues in March
MARINETTE — The Lord’s Diner is an evening meal mission held every Wednesday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Pierce Avenue and University Drive. The Lord’s Diner serves a variety of hot meals and now includes a food pantry. The sponsors are seven local groups: St. Vincent de Paul, Faith Baptist Church, Community Covenant Church, St. Paul’s Church, St. James Church, the Christian Motorcycle Association and Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Squares to hold dance Sunday
MARINETTE — The Twin City Squares will hold a dance Sunday, from 2 to 4:30 p.m., at Merryman School, 611 Elizabeth Ave. The caller will be Mary Houle. The supper is casseroles and salads. The lunch committee will furnish dessert. There will be square dance lessons from 1 to 2 p.m., before the dance.
The March Club of the Month Dance will be hosted by Romeos and Calicos March 26 at 7 p.m., at The Community Day Center (Valley Packaging), 3375 W Brewster, Appleton, Wisconsin.

Kids invited to Nerf battle March 10
MENOMINEE — Boys and girls in sixth through eighth grade are invited to the YMCA for Nerf gun and swimming night, March 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. Check in begins at 5:30. The gym will be set up with various obstacles and cover for kids to have pick-up-style Nerf gun battles and contests. Participants must bring their own Nerf weapons. The YMCA will supply the protective eyewear and Nerf ammunition. Weapons must shoot standard Nerf ammunition. Participants should label or mark their weapons to identify them. Swim time will also be available.
