Why did you choose UW-Marinette?

It is in my hometown. I can live at home and still go to school and save a lot of money not having to worry about dorm costs.

What surprised you the most about UW-Marinette when you arrived on campus?

How small some of the class sizes were.

Why did you choose your program/major?

In thinking about majoring in psychology, I want to know why people do the things they do.

What are you learning about your career field that you find interesting or rewarding?

Using writing techniques is making me interested in how people think. For example, why does an author write in certain ways and certain subjects?

In addition to being a college student, what takes up your free time?

Hanging out with family and friends and playing basketball for UW-Marinette.

Who has been your favorite professor or staff member?

Dr. (Jennifer) Flatt, English and world languages professor, is a genuine person with an amazing personality. She makes lectures in class fun and interesting.

What do you plan to do after UW-Marinette?

With the coming campus merger with UW-Green Bay, I might stay here or physically go to Green Bay to complete my degree.

What is one piece of advice you have for incoming UW-Marinette students?

Dedicate your time to your homework and make sure you go to classes because you always get tips on how to do things.
