WIC: Women, Infants and Children provides nutrition education, health referrals and free supplemental food for eligible pregnant women, breastfeeding and post-partum women, infants and children up to 5 years.
Children’s Special Health Care Services: This program assists individuals from birth to 21 years of age (families of all income levels) who have a special health need that may benefit from specialized care or the use of specialized equipment.
Flouride Vanish: This service is offered for children younger than 3 years with the Michigan Medical card.
MIHP: The Maternal Infant Health Program provides social support, information, and care coordination services through home visits for pregnant women and infants covered by Medicaid.
Hearing & Vision Screening: This program provides services for preschool and kindergarten aged children and EPSDT clients. Screening also provided to select age groups in the school setting.
Lead Prevention: This program provides blood lead testing, prevention education, and referrals to providers when indicated by elevated lead levels.
Family Planning Services: This program provides general reproductive health services, multiple contraceptive options, related health education, counseling, and referrals as necessary.
STI/HIV/AIDS: This program provides counseling and testing, partner notification, prevention education and referral services for men and women. (HIV services offered anonymously)
Immunizations: This program provides infant, childhood and adult immunizations. Many vaccines are available at a reduced cost to those who qualify.
BCCCNP: Breast and Cervical Cancer Control and Navigation Program provides screening services free of charge. Women must be ages 40-64, meet income guidelines and have no health insurance or are underinsured.
WISEWOMAN: This program offers screening for cholesterol, blood pressure and glucose, and are available to women enrolled in BCCCNP.
Women’s Health Clinics: This program offers women’s services for clients ages 40-64, but have some type of insurance.
