LENA — UW-Extension of Marinette and Oconto Counties are sponsoring a workshop designed to help producers manage crop input and income risk at the Lena Town Hall, 6087 Goatsville Road, at intersection of Goatsville and Jagiello Road, northwest of the Village of Lena, Tuesday from 12:30 to 3 p.m. The workshop will include discussions on crop insurance and how to utilize it most effectively for a specific farm’s situation; grain marketing plans and an overview of the current status of the grain crops market and crop input decision making from a return on investment strategy. The focus within all these various topics will be how you can minimize input costs without hurting potential per acre profitability. There will also be a general discussion about any other crop related topics that attendees want addressed.
