MARINETTE — The M&M Area Community Foundation (MMACF), in their continued efforts to support local nonprofits, has organized a grant-writing seminar for schools, churches, nonprofits and government entities at the North Coast Marine and Advanced Manufacturing Training Center, 1428 Main St., Jan. 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The total cost of participation of $130 will be offset by the foundation, bringing the cost to $35 per person.
Both beginners and experienced grant writers will learn how to write effective grant proposals and navigate the grant process, develop ideas into winning proposals, identify potential funders and understand the full proposal development, submission and review process. Trainer Molly Martzke will use her knowledge and experience of securing millions of dollars in grant funding from private and community foundations as well as governmental agencies to assist nonprofits in meeting their grant-funding goals.
For more information and to register, persons may call the MMACF, 906-864-3599.
