MENOMINEE — The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 146 and Wreaths Across America chairperson, Jane Raygo, held a memorial service to honor and remember fallen veteran heroes at the Veterans’ Memorial Park, Riverside Cemetery, Dec. 2. Christmas wreaths, 257 of them, were blessed by Brad Sjoquist of Holy Spirit Church, and placed on the gravesites. 
In attendance were Michael Hensley (Pledge of Allegiance), American Legion Auxiliary Unit 146 (National Anthem), retired USAF Lieutenant Colonel Wayne Mulzer (guest speaker), American Legion and Sons of American Legion Post 146, Civil Air Patrol, Joe Ciochetto (plane flyover), Cemetery Board, 20-Year Club (gun salute/taps), Menominee City Police Department, Sheriff Kenneth Marks, Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club and Triple C Riders (wreath escorts), DAV, Menominee Woman’s Club, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Riverside Cemetery personnel.
