Donations from K. of C. Tootsie Roll Drive were presented following the dinner. Each group received $1,218: Ecumenical Bible Study Group, Special Olympics, Special Individuals Growing Higher Together (SIGHT). An award of $1,000 was presented to Emily Peters and her parents, Jeff and Michelle, to help with their trip to Washington, D.C. Emily won an art contest for her drawing of Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus.

Berdol gave a talk about Christianity in the Philippines. He thanked the U.S.A. for helping his people and from keeping China from occupying their lands. He also thanked the Knights for their support of his continued work here and in the Philippines.
