MENOMINEE — Menominee County Intermediate School will conduct Early Childhood Developmental Screenings for children from birth through 5 (if not attending school) Fridays throughout the year: Friday, Feb. 2, March 2, April 13, May 4 and June 1.
Screenings are held from 8:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Menominee County Intermediate School District, 1201 41st Ave. Arrangements can be made for children located in the Carney-Nadeau and North Central school districts. Appointments are required. For more information, people may call 906-863-5665 to schedule a screening appointment.
The screening test measures the child’s abilities based on developmental milestones in five domains: Personal-social, adaptive, motor, communication and cognitive.
Screening information for older individuals, ages 6 to 26, may be obtained from the child’s building principal or by contacting the Menominee County ISD Director of Special Education, at 906-863-5665, ext. 1012.
