MENOMINEE — CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Menominee County is sponsoring a 30-day raffle in April to bring attention to Child Abuse Prevention Awareness month and to support the advocacy work CASA volunteers perform for local children who are victims of abuse and neglect.
Raffle tickets are $10 each and may be purchased in Menominee at: ACE Hardware, Jack’s Fresh Market, Cycle Path, Peninsula Federal Credit Union, State Wide Real Estate; in Stephenson at mBank; in Marinette at Fully Charged; and in Peshtigo at Arlow’s Small Engine Repair. A $100-winner will be drawn each day in April. Since winning tickets will be returned to the ticket pool, each ticket has 30 chances to win.
Proceeds from the 30-day raffle will go toward operational expenses for CASA of Menominee County.
CASA of Menominee County recruits, screens, trains, monitors and supports volunteers who advocate for children who come before Menominee County Family Court due to abuse and neglect.
