CRIVITZ — The Crivitz Rescue Squad will hold an all-you-can-eat breakfast at the Crivitz Village Hall, 800 Henriette Ave., Saturday from 7 to 11 a.m. The menu, which includes scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, pancakes, sausage, coffee, juice and milk, costs $10 per person and $5 for children younger than 10 years old.
There will also be gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches with options in any combination of gouda, cheddar, feta, mozzarella, parmesan and Swiss cheeses; fresh cut french fries and assorted pies served from 3 to 8 p.m. at a cost of $5 for sandwiches and $2 each for pies and fries. These events are in an effort to raise funds to start a community garden this spring.
Crivitz Rescue Squad previously purchased a piece of property behind their station which sat vacant for several years after an apartment fire and members are hoping to get businesses and individuals on board with turning this once eyesore into a great asset for Crivitz.
