ATHELSTANE — The Athelstane/Silver Cliff American Legion Auxiliary Unit 66 met at the Silver Cliff Town Hall, March 3. There are now a total of 55 members comprising 47 seniors and eight juniors. Members are encouraged to submit reports as reports are collaborated with others from Wisconsin and given to the ALA National Organization which are then given to Congress to help improve the veterans’ benefits. Any member who has volunteer hours and activities to report should contact Ann Wender.
As part of the Adopt-A-Vet Program, it was decided to purchase Easter tray favors which will be given away at the VA in Iron Mountain and neck collars will be given away for the Christmas-In-July project.
