Prom royalty chosen
Marvin Gagnon and Candice Shepley were crowned king and queen at the Pinecrest Medical Care Facility, Powers, annual prom held June 13. Pinecrest held its fifth annual prom, where residents and volunteers shared a festive evening while enjoying the special punch prepared as well as tiramisu, strawberries, mini cheesecakes and mini cream puffs. The residents also joined in the singing as they were serenaded by Jim Clements. In preparation for the event, the ladies and gentlemen tried on dresses and suits before selecting their favorite and the students of the Paul Mitchell School, Escanaba, Mich., did hair, make-up, manicures and pedicures.
