Why the benefit is being held: Vaness was diagnosed Oct. 7 with stage four lung cancer. She also has a tumor in her brain, which was treated with radiation. Vaness has had to quit her job because of her cancer treatments. Money raised will help offset medical expenses. Any extra money will be donated for cancer research.
When the benefit is: April 23, 1-6 p.m.

Special details of the benefit: Benefit will feature a raffle for a 2001 Fat Boy Mega Chrome Harley Davidson motorcycle and many more prizes. There will be live and silent auctions, bucket and 50/50 raffles, food and music.
