My Jamaican vacation was amazing. Everything I expected and then more. I relaxed, layed by the pool, walked on the beaches....(insert tropical vacation commercial here) Everyone got along and nobody got sick! Success. My little one was such a trooper also, cooperated with daily naps, and was a fish in the pool. So now you are all wanting to kill me of jealousy, but to be honest by day 6 I was ready to go home. All the clothes had that suntan lotion, smelled & felt like sweaty hot heat, salt water smell and were all worn, dirty, I anticipated coming home and having to wash and organize and put away all of it. Which, tonight I should be done with EVERYTHING. Does that make you feel better?
My goal was to work out 2 times that week. I did it once, on Monday, when I was at the bar getting a drink when I saw some fitness ladies under the pavillion appearing to be getting ready to workout. Ya Mon! It was a good sweat. But, then the next few days I just watched them sweat from afar under a coconut tree. Ahhh the life. And of course the buffets & food were amazing. Breakfast was oddly my favorite though. Because when you are in a tropical location, the resort has to cater to more than just the Americans (sad, I know) So there were some pretty weird lettuce/salad mixes for lunch and some odd meat concoctions for dinner. So I looked forward to toast for breakfast and maybe, just maybe some bacon everyday. LOL.
But ya, so it was good, I am almost back to my workout routines, I still need to add in another day. Winter sucks the life right out of me. I'm like a bear hibernating. And, I guess, instead of get all stressed out about it, I'll embrace it and just keep doing the motions until spring- where I always amp it up anyways.
