AURORA, Wis. —  Kim Van Osdol, who played an integral role in the Marinette/Menominee business community for 23 years, has been added as a market president at Great North Bank in Aurora. 

Van Osdol, whose experience in the banking industry spans more than four decades and included a tenure as senior vice president of business services with Community First Credit Union, Appleton, Wis.; president of the First National Bank that became MFC First National Bank and then Wells Fargo in Menominee; president of the Nicolet National Bank, Marinette and Menominee, which he started in 2001 and his 25 years with Michigan Financial Corporation, will be primarily focused on customers in the southern Upper Peninsula and northern Wisconsin.

“I enjoy helping businesses and people succeed,” Van Osdol said. “My 42 years of commercial, financial and community leadership experience has been focused on listening and building relationships.”

While a resident in the Marinette/Menominee area, Van Osdol served on the BAMC board; the Chamber of Commerce board; the EDC board and continues to be on the board of L.E. Jones Company and many other non-profit organizations. He was awarded the Ron Wipfli Person of the Year award in 2006.
